Well Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation
Restoring a tired or low-yield well using mechanical, chemical, and hydraulic methods.
Rehabilitation removes scale, biofilm, and sediment from the screen and gravel pack to recover lost yield. A complete rehab typically includes a pre-rehab video log, mechanical surging, targeted acid or chlorine treatment, airlift development, and a post-rehab step-drawdown test. For most aging Utah wells with sound casing, rehab is dramatically cheaper than drilling new.
